Inlaks Scholarships are awarded across a wide range of subjects to young Indian graduates of exceptional talent, character and motivation, for study at a top-rated university or institution in the United Kingdom, Europe or the United States.

Indian passport holders resident in India, born on or after 1 January 1996, with a degree from a recognised Indian university and an offer of admission.

Funding Details

Amount: Depends on the course, up to USD 120,000

The value depends on the course and covers tuition fees, living expenses, one-way travel, visa costs and a health allowance, up to USD 120,000. Courses can last from nine months to four years.

Eligibility Requirements

Academic requirements

Minimum grades: 65% / CGPA 6.8 / GPA 2.6 for social sciences, humanities, law, fine arts, architecture; 70% / CGPA 7.2 / GPA 3 for mathematics, sciences, environment.

Subject / field

Not eligible: business and finance, computer science, engineering (except engineering and natural sciences at Imperial College London), fashion design, film (except documentary), hospitality, MBA, medicine and dentistry, music (except Western classical singing) and some others.

Age

Born on or after 1 January 1996 (for the 2026 scholarships).
